RMC Grants
- $250,000 to the City of Maywood for Regional Riverfront Park.
- $450,000 to the City of Whittier for the Pio Pico State Historic Park connection to the San Gabriel River Bikeway
- $200,000 to the City of Bell for the Los Angeles River Bikeway Path Enhancement and Rehabilitation
- $250,000 to the City of Bellflower for the Train Depot Staging Area
- $250,000 to the City of Downey for the Boeing/NASA Park
- $300,000 to the City of Lakewood for Phase II of the West San Gabriel River Open Space Project
- $622,600 to the City of Long Beach for the San Gabriel River Walk project
- $200,000 to the City of Montebello for the Rio Hondo Roosevelt Avenue River Trail Entry
- $250,000 to the City of Cerritos for Coyote Creek Bike Path Access Improvement
- $250,000 to the City of South Gate for Los Angeles River Bike Path Access Improvements
- $600,000 to the City of Santa Fe Springs for implementation of proposed Riverview Park.
Bike Trail Grant
- $250,000 to the COG to plan a bikeway that will go across, Artesia, Cerritos and Paramount
- The bikeway will also go across Bellflower, but Bellflower’s planning money came from the MTA
San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers & Mountains Conservancy (RMC)
- The Gateway Cities Council of Governments sponsored the legislation that created the San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy also called the RMC
- The Gateway Cities Council of Governments has two representatives on the Conservancy Board of Directors
- The Conservancy has brought millions of dollars of state grants to cities in our region.
